Professional Bio:
Derek currently works as a client sales representative where he teaches and advises clients on new products and services. Derek is now in his 9th year in sales and 19th year with Foundation Software. Throughout his tenure, he has aided thousands of contractors in identifying the specific needs of their business, where improvements can be made and how ProjectHQ® can get them there.
Derek began his career at Foundation Software in the Client Services Department in 2005. He worked as a support representative before eventually transitioning to the role of field trainer. As a client services field trainer, he organized and ran pre-implementation meetings with clients. This allowed him to gain firsthand experience working with clients as he assisted in the initial setup of new accounting systems, trained new users and assisted with ongoing software support.
Derek is accustomed to working one-on-one with clients or in group webinars. He has performed over 5,000 demos, attended nearly 35 tradeshows and regularly educates himself on the industry. He has a deep understanding of the client base as well as the software, inside and out.
Personal Bio:
In his free time, Derek enjoys an active lifestyle while spending time with his family. Derek goes camping and spends time outdoors with his wife, Crystal, and their two boys, Jacks and Jace.
Goals:
To continue working closely with clients, contribute to the continual growth of the company and help further the progress of the Client Sales Department.
